Wii Fit Plus – it’s pretty good
I managed to put on an entire stone between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day (don’t ask. On the bright side, probably good material for a feature). Anyway, I now have a total of five stone to lose to get to my perfect weight for my height and bone structure. So I decided if I’m going to stuff my face I need to exercise. A lot. To that end, I bought a Wii with Wii Fit Plus. I’m aiming to build up to 1 hour of exercise six days a week (or everyday). So far I’m up to 30 minutes a day since I started on New Year’s Day. My problem is because I’m taller than average, no one believes I am overweight until I step on a scales. Even my doctor didn’t believe me. I’ve given myself until my birthday in July to get thin again, which is six months. Last time I lost 4 stone (5 years ago) it took me three months, which was probably a bit quick. I managed to keep it off until December 2009. I’m not just relying on the Wii; I also have a cross trainer so I use both daily. Second body test is tomorrow. Hopefully I’ve shed some weight and reduced my Wii fit age (mine was 52!! A good 10 years older than my real age). Shocking. I’m considering Slimming World. Maybe the public humiliation will help!
